STEP 01

The Design Consultation

Consultations are the bread and butter of the project. This on site session (virtual availability as well) is focused on understanding your goals: We ask how you use the space. What you've tried. What you'd like to change. Existing pieces. Daily routines. The way light moves through the room at 4 p.m. Personal style and color preferences are also shared.

In exchange, we lead with excellent ideas and concepts that can help transform the space. By the end of the hour, we have a framework of your priorities, your timeline, budget parameters, and a solid scope of what we're building.

STEP 02

Site Assessment

We walk the space. We take measurements, photographs, and inventory. We document light direction, traffic patterns, ceiling heights, and sightlines.

We agree on the investment here. Before any design work begins, you have a written scope, a timeline, and a budget. Three numbers you can hold us to.

STEP 03

Design Direction

Back in the studio, Noel develops the design. Floor plans, renderings, material palettes, furniture and lighting selections, fixture and hardware specifications. Every choice draws on a globally inspired lens and holds the client’s goals in high regard.

In a follow-up correspondence, we present the design proposal. We explain each selection. We adjust together where needed.

The plan you approve is the plan we execute.

STEP 04

Sourcing & Sequencing

Once you approve the design, we manage execution. We source the pieces, domestically and from the global makers we've come to trust. We coordinate vendors. We schedule the trades. We track every delivery against the install date.

Throughout the entire project, clients receive progress updates and we operate in a very transparent manner.

Installation

We supervise the install on-site. Noel is present and project manages all installations.

We place the furniture. We hang the art. We install the lighting. We deliver to specification, on schedule.
